George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. He was known to be a political figure, a military general, and a statesman. George Washington was the primary president of the US. He served as the president for eight years. He is known to be “The Father” of his country because of his contributions and leadership in the early days of the country.

His contributions to the constitution:

George Washington played a vital role in acquiring and upholding the US Constitution. He was then elected as president (twice) by the people. He executed a stable, well-financed national government while he was neutral during an intense rivalry between cabinet members Jefferson and Hamilton. During the French Revolution, he declared a policy of neutrality while enacting the Jay Treaty. Washington belongs to a wealthy family of Virginia. He was the eldest of the six children of Augustine and Mary ball Washington. His great grandfather had accumulated 5000 acres of land after inaugurating from Sulgrave, England. His father was a prominent public figure and a peace fighter. After the death of Augustine in 1743, Washington hired then slaves and his older half-brother Lawrence who was his father’s child from the first marriage inherited Little Hunting Creek and renamed it, Mount Vernon.
