Who is Tiger Woods?

Tiger Wood, full name – Eldrick Tont Woods, was born on December 30, 1975. He is an American professional golf player. He secures the second rank in men’s major championships. Tiger has also won various and numerous titles and golf records. He is widely known as one of the world’s greatest golf players and athletes.

Early Life:

Tiger Woods was born in Cypress, California, on December 30, 1975. His father’s name was Earl Woods, and his mother’s name was Kultida Woods. Woods was an extraordinary and talented boy that his parents had discovered early.

His father, Earl Woods, was an athlete. Even before the age of 2, he started playing golf. Wood’s father was a military man and performed at the Navy golf course where he used to take Tiger, and they played there. He was also a golfer during his college days. His father also revealed later that Tiger’s first time defeated him was when he was just 11 years old.

Tiger woods graduated from the western high school in 1994 when he was 18. There, he was also selected for the “Most likely to succeed” during his graduating years. He suffered and overcame his difficulty as a child. He used to stutter. This wasn’t discovered until he wrote a letter to one of his friend who committed suicide. He wrote how it’s challenging to be different and how he felt bad for it too. He also disclosed that he used to talk to his dog until he fell asleep.

Tiger’s career started his professional life from the age of 20, in 1996. His first deal was with Nike and Titleist, who used to be the top endorsing brands of that time.

Other Ventures:

In 1997, Tiger and his father Earl founded the Tiger Tiger Woods foundation (TGR Foundation). The main objective of this foundation was to promote the sport Golf amongst the children of the inner city.

In 2006, Tiger announced he wanted to build and design golf courses around the globe with his new TIGER WOODS DESIGN. But his company couldn’t do well in the projects.
