Who is Mike Tyson?

Mike Tyson, Full name – Mike Gerard Tyson, was born on June 30, 1966. He is an American professional boxer who competed from 1985-2005. Mike Tyson is known to be the world’s heavyweight champion and the youngest fighter to win the heavyweight title.

Early life of Iron :

Mike Gerard was born on June 30, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York. He had a complicated family with his mother, two elder siblings, and his brother Rodney and sister Denise. Denise died at the age of 24 because of a heart attack. His father, Jimmy Kirkpatrick, married and had Mike’s half brother, Jimmie Lee Kirkpatrick. Jimmie left the Tyson family and moved to Brooklyn, where he met Tyson’s mother. Tyson’s father was a street guy living in the street world. He abandoned them while Mike was born, leaving her mother to take care of the children on her own.

His childhood wasn’t so astonishing. He got into the world of small crimes from the teenage only. By the time he was 13, he was already arrested 38 times. In his defense with the help of his lawyer, Mike Tyson claimed that everything took place with the consent of both the parties and denied the allegations that he had forced himself upon her.

Soon after the cross-examination done by the prosecution, It was revealed that Tyson was misled, and he insisted on thinking that Washington wanted to have sex with him. Ultimately he was found guilty and was convicted for six years of jail along with four years of probation. But, he was out only in less than three years of his sentence. Soon after getting out, Mike Tyson got converted into Islam and adopted a girl child named Malik Abdul Aziz.
